Default What rez do you prefer on a Warrior?

This is for both PvE and PvP, assuming that you're running a W/Any build.

For PvE, Sunspear Rebirth Signet [skill]Sunspear Rebirth Signet[/skill] seems to be a pretty solid choice, provided that you have Nightfall (I have all campaigns btw). Sometimes, people go W/Mo so they can use a hard rez like Rebirth [skill]Rebirth[/skill] or Resurrection Chant [skill]Resurrection Chant[/skill]

In PvP, I've seen several Warriors (Not just Warriors actually, pretty much any profession) use Death Pact Signet [skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill], which also kills you if the person who gets rezzed dies again, which actually, from the games I've observed, tends to happen so you can get a 2 in 1 kill. Otherwise they just simply run Resurrection Signet [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Thanks,
Fujin

If I use 7 warrior only skills, I choose Rebirth, Rez.Sig./Sunspear Sig. otherwise.

In PvP I use Rez.Sig. only and if I play AB, I have no rez

I prefer the regular rez............ Been using it since the start of the game xD
It is quick and easy and pretty easy to recharge depending on where you are. I like rebirth but I hate it when monks in PuGs I have use it during fighting mobs.....The casting time +0 energy.....it can basically kill a team if the monk uses it, but if they are smart and get back, re-rez drom a distance then its fine to have.

Now that I look at it..I'm most likely going to switch to a W/Rt soon so i will most likely use dark pact.....but if the person you rezed dies...your kinda screwed xD

dp signet. I dont pug, so deaths in my partys are usually silly mistakes that wont be repeated or possibly an impending wipe. in either case the side-effects arent bad at all. also 120 seconds is not very long at all, make sure to read guild wiki and not the skill cards.

[skill]Signet of Return[/skill] since /Rt and /Mo don't have any useful skills.
But really, if you hold aggro properly, you should be the only one who might die (excluding in PuGs) so you don't need a hard rez.

For PuGs, take [skill]Flesh of my Flesh[/skill] for a Rez. Really the best hard rez for a Warrior IMO.

#1. It's full range, unlike Resurrection Chant. You will most likely be on the frontlines and you don't want to run back and break aggro to rez someone.
#2. It gives a decent amount of health and ~10% energy so it doesn't suck as a combat rez.
#3. Health loss is easy to manage with Healing Signet, and since PuGs never understand aggro management the -40 armor will barely hurt because you won't be targeted with Eles running around on the frontline using Double Dragon and stuff.

[skill]Rebirth[/skill] isn't a good rez for a Warrior really. If your party is being wiped and people are running, you should not run with them. You should stay behind and hold the mobs since you'll survive the longest so your casters can get out of harm, come back and Rebirth the party. 15% DP doesn't really hurt a Warrior in PuGs.

Rebirth is garbage for any class. Resurrection Chant is alright I suppose--but Res Signet or Death Pact are my picks.

I confess I rarely bring one though... in most areas of PvE, its easier just to respawn if things go so badly your monks die. I think people insist on bringing resses in these areas more out of habit and principal than actual need.

Default Hmm

Rebirth is a must for pve i feel. 5/8 of your team is dead and 15 monsters are partolling near their bodies then well ressing them to your position will probably save your team from failing a mission. I've seen rebirth turn a "Everyone just resign" into a "Good mission, keep going?". Pvp is pretty straightforward , i've never used a res other then res sig unless i'm a mesmer with a decently high FC or if i'm a healer then i take flesh of my flesh because i can regain the health.

Sunspear Rebirth Signet does the same thing without sucking or requiring Monk secondary. I've been in situations like the one you described before, but if 5/8 of your group is going to die in one spot, whats to stop them from just getting wiped 5 minutes later? Its a bad sign and probably indicates you're poorly prepared one way or another.

Furthermore, more often than not, people will just take Rebirth because they've been brainwashed that they're supposed to, without understanding what is and is not an appropriate time to use it. I wish I had a penny every time some asshat doubled my death penalty by rezzing me with Rebirth. I'm not exaggerating, people do that a lot.

At least its better than [skill]Resurrect[/skill]

Which is why you have your healer and ONLY your healer carry Rebirth, not the prot monk or elementalist or wammo or ranger or anyone else. Just the healer.

I totally agree, nothing beats it for PvE. Morale boost are usually fairly common, thus it owns in every way.

rebirth is quite bad. it's only use is for rezzing your teammates after they got wiped, and you're the only survivor. which, if your party is not retarded, generally shouldn't happen.

even death pact signet is more useful than rebirth.

Meh I don't carry a res anymore. If I do it would be either death pact signet or sunspear res sig.

I usually don't need one, hence I don't usually bring one. For the times I do, it's Sunspear Rebirth Signet. I spent hours grinding R10, so it may as well do some damn good.

PvP - depends on team build
PvE - none. If you're bringing 4 henchies then you already have at least 2 res sigs which should be enough to get you through any area. Even if you want more, a human warrior is the last character that should carry one because the rest of the party will only be taking damage if the warrior is dead.
